Concrete pump setup will begin at approximately 12:00 AM), with concrete pumping expected to          begin around 1:00 AM and take approximately 6 hours to complete.

All other concrete operations scheduled for the week will follow their typical schedule, with                      concrete pumps and shotcrete compressors arriving at approximately 5:00 AM for setup and                    pumping beginning around 6:00 AM, and continuing for several hours.          All equipment will be positioned within the excavation on the job site, with sound blankets                       installed where feasible to help minimize noise. The project team will continue monitoring                       sound levels throughout these operations to help reduce impacts. Noise & Mitigation Efforts

We recognize the inconvenience of construction activity for our neighbors and remain committed to implementing and refining mitigation measures. Current and expanded efforts include:

  • Use of sound blankets and localized equipment shielding
  • Ongoing noise monitoring, including decibel tracking to ensure compliance with City thresholds
  • Limiting higher-impact activities during evening hours where feasible
  • Evaluating additional mitigation strategies as work progresses

Traffic plan around the redevelopment site

During construction, a traffic control plan ensures access and safety for pedestrians and bicyclists traveling between east and west in the Convention Center area. A defined truck route will minimize traffic impact with a one-way path for trucks.
