The Austin Convention Center expansion and redevelopment isn’t just a project. It’s a bold leap into the future for one of the world’s greatest cities. It will be a vital downtown amenity, fueling economic growth, sparking community pride, and solidifying Austin as a premier hub for culture, business, and unforgettable experiences.
Austin is the No. 13 largest city in the U.S., yet the Convention Center ranks No. 61 in size. We’ve had to turn away major events simply because we don’t have enough space. That changes with this redevelopment. Once complete, we’ll climb to the No. 35 largest in the country, making Austin a competitive hub for large-scale conferences and multiple simultaneous events.

新會議中心的每一個細節都是考慮到永續性設計的，從回收材料到低碳混凝土和鋼材。 該計畫正在為永續發展設立新的標準，力爭成為世界上第一個獲得零碳認證的會議中心。 該設施將採用 100% 再生能源，目標是獲得 ILFI 零碳認證並符合奧斯汀氣候公平計畫。
