The Trask House is one of the few remaining 1850s buildings still in existence in Austin and Travis County. A Recorded Texas Historic Landmark, recipient of the Austin Heritage Society Award, and City of Austin Landmark, the Trask House is a rare example of an antebellum, single-family home with a detached kitchen\u2014possibly the only remaining one within Austin\u2019s original townsite boundaries\u2014made of limestone rubble masonry in the Greek Revival style.<\/span><\/p>

This move brings the Trask House close to its original location and remains in the same historical district.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
